The Garden Clubs of Australia’s 11th Annual Photo Competition 2017

If you enjoy photography and are a member of an affiliated club or a subscriber to Our Gardens why not review your existing photos and also get snapping over the summer months, and beyond, and share your photos by entering the 2017 competition.
Click Here for your 2017 entry form.

Your photographs can be taken anywhere in the world (not just Australia), with subjects related to general garden scenes, productive garden scenes , edible plants, flowers, plants, or garden visitors.

This will cater for the increasing interest by gardeners growing and viewing vegetables and herbs.
The five categories (of photos taken anywhere in the world):

  1. Garden Scenes (anywhere around the world)

  2. Garden Visitors (birds, bees, bugs, animals)

  3. Abstract image of flowers or foliage

  4. Close-ups of flowers, foliage or floral/flower arrangements

  5. Productive Gardens or Edible Plants (fruit, vegetables, herbs)

The winner of each category receives $100 from Garden Clubs of Australia and the finalists each receive $50
of garden products from our Sponsors.

WE AGAIN HAVE A “JUNIOR” SECTION. This will cater for the increasing number of children/grandchildren taking photos. Entrants for this Junior Section must be nominated by an affiliated club or magazine subscriber, and must be 16 years or under at the deadline date for receipt of entries. Details are on the revised entry form.

All photographs and digital images will be destroyed, after deciding which ones will be published in the Autumn Issue of 2017 Our Gardens issues - unless you have arranged for their return to you. This fully protects your copyright of the photos and images.
